AirVenture Cup 2001 Race

The race started in Kitty Hawk, NC and ended in Oshkosh with a lay over in Dayton, OH and an unscheduled stop in Aurora, IL due to weather.  Most of the racers (non-turbo) flew the race less than 2000 ft agl.  Some flew the race at only a few hundred feet trying to get maximum horsepower.  A total of 29 airplanes flew the race including 3 Reno Unlimiteds that started in Dayton.
