| Despite the rain right before the show started we had a
good year at Sun-N-Fun this past April. The overall fly in
attendance was way down but we still had 12 Mustang II's attend. Our
group fly-out before the show was cancelled because of the weather but the
rest of the week was beautiful. Our dinner at Buddy Freddys drew a
good crowd on Wednesday night and we anticipate going to the same place
again next year on Wednesday. After winning best metal homebuilt last year on his first trip to SNF, Bill Scheltema won Grand Champion Plans Built this year. Bill was working the line all week showing off the folding wing and his great workmanship. He did a photo shoot with EAA so look for him in an upcoming issue of Sport Aviation. |
