| The Mustangs are parked near the Homebuilders
Headquarters just south of the building. There is
an olive green colored 25ft tower labeled "Homebuilts" on the south side of
the building. The Mustang row is south of the building but there
are often Mustangs in front of the building with the past Grand
Champions and homebuilts with over 1000 hours on them. Any Mustangs flying in the AirVenture Cup Race could be parked down with the rest of the race airplanes near Boeing Plaza (aka Aeroshell Square). Any pilots camping with their airplanes will have their Mustangs parked in homebuilt camping. Some of the Mustang pilots set their tents up down near the Vintage area in the trees so they can park their airplanes front and center with the rest of the Mustangs. The showers are more convenient down there as well. |
