Northwest EAA Fly-In 2007

July 11-15th  Arlington, WA

We had a great show at the NorthWest EAA Fly-In at Arlington, WA.  I had a chance to meet several builders and owners for the first time.  The weather was warm early in the show but worked out well.  My trip out there in the prototype N1117M was very scenic and uneventful.  The many new features we have added to the airplane including electronic ignition and autopilot certainly enhanced the cross country capability of the airplane.  The trip out I had headwinds of course and only averaged about 145kts but the return trip I was doing between 175 and 185kts burning about 6.7 gal/hr at 11,500 feet.  Thanks to builders Ed Fredrickson and Frank Hella for all of their help.  I look forward to going back out to see the progress on their kits.
