What Fuel Options Are There? |

We offer several different fuel options so builders can customize their plane to fit their needs. We offer: There are also wing tip tanks available from another supplier. Typical combinations are the 25 gallon header tank with the two 6 gallon aux tanks for a total of 37 gallons (ideal for folding wing configuration), or the 12 gallon header tank with the two 18 gallon leading edge tanks for a total of 48 gallons. Some people even use the 25 gallon header tank with the two 18 gallon leading edge tanks for a total of 61 gallons. Using the wet wings the maximum gross weight we would like to see is 1850 pounds. Wet wings are more difficult to install but are cheap and make for a more stable cross country airplane. They also do not add to the structural loads of the wing attach fittings in flight. |
