How Big is the Cockpit?

Cockpit dimensions need to be carefully compared between different homebuilt designs as the way they are measured varies.  Most manufacturers do not take into account interiors or fully account for internal structure.

Perhaps the most consistent way to compare is to look at outside or fuselage dimensions.  Here are a few for comparison:
